Heather McCornack is an accompanist in Manhattan, spending most of her time in the voice and choral departments at Kansas State University and with the Flint Hills Children’s Choir. She maintains a private voice and piano studio in addition to her involvement with the Manhattan Arts Center on stage, music directing, and producing musical theatre concerts. In the spring of 2016 she was the accompanist for the K-State choirs’ performance of Carmina Burana at the Kauffman Center in Kansas City. Heather has a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is currently working on her Masters in Voice Performance at K-State. She is passionate about musical theatre and loves discovering new composers. Heather has been a musical theatre performer on stages all over the midwest and has spent the past two summers performing with Transcendence Theatre Company in California where her show won the 2016 BroadwayWorld San Francisco award for Best Show Performed for Youth.
$200 per semester - includes weekly lesson, seminars, divisionals, and juries. Studio recitals are $10 each. $15 for additional 30 minute rehearsals. Does not include NATS.
Individual recitals must be discussed at the beginning of the semester. Rates may vary depending on the repertoire. The average rate is $50 for a half-recital and $100 for a full-recital in addition to the $200 semester fee for lessons.
